PRECLEANER ASSY EICHER EX TRACK/NM

The Pre‑Cleaner Assembly (Pre‑Cleaner Assy) is an auxiliary air filtration component designed for Eicher EX / EX‑Track / NM series vehicles / engines. Its primary function is to capture and separate large dust particles, sand, grit and debris from the incoming air before it reaches the main air filter element. This significantly reduces the dust load on the primary air filter, thereby extending filter life, reducing maintenance frequency, and improving engine reliability especially in dusty or harsh environments.

Key Features & Functions

• Centrifugal / Cyclonic Dust Separation: Many pre‑cleaners are based on a rotary or cyclonic motion which accelerates air so that heavier particles are flung outward and collected or drained, while relatively cleaner air enters the main filter.

• Housing and Inlet / Outlet Ports: Built with durable metal / cast housing with an inlet port, outlet port, and often a drain or dust ejection outlet.

• Mounting Brackets / Seals: Includes mounting flanges or brackets and sealing gaskets to interface with the intake duct / snorkel of the engine.

• Dust Collection / Drain Provision: A dust reservoir, bowl, or drain facility to remove separated dust & debris periodically.

• Airflow Compatibility: Engineered to handle the designed airflow rate (e.g. cubic meters per minute) for the Eicher EX / NM engine, without imposing too much pressure drop.
